M\u00e4rz 2021 \u2013 Politische Vertreter, Mitglieder des Vereins Parc des Carri\u00e8res und Akteure, die das Projekt auf finanzieller und fachlicher Ebene unterst\u00fctzt haben, entdeckten die erste Bauphase bei einer Pressekonferenz. Zu diesem Anlass pflanzten franz\u00f6sische und Schweizer Vertreter mehrere B\u00e4ume: eine sch\u00f6ne Weise, das Zusammenleben zu begehen.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Baubeginn war Anfang Februar; mittlerweile ist der Bau der Parkanlage zwischen Allschwil, Basel, Saint-Louis und H\u00e9genheim bereits weit fortgeschritten. An den Wegr\u00e4ndern befinden sich seit einigen Tagen B\u00e4ume und Str\u00e4ucher lokaler Herkunft. Ein Spielplatz ist derzeit im Bau.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Der Park entsteht mitten im schweizerisch-franz\u00f6sischen Grenzgebiet, das lange Zeit intensiv f\u00fcr Landwirtschaft und Kiesabbau genutzt wurde. Das Gel\u00e4nde wird auf Initiative einer \u00f6ffentlich-privaten Partnerschaft zu einem 11 Hektar grossen Landschaftspark f\u00fcr die Bewohnerinnen und Bewohner der benachbarten Gemeinden umgestaltet. Initiiert wurde das Projekt von der IBA Basel, welche das Projekt die vergangenen zehn Jahre federf\u00fchrend geleitet hat. Es ist eines von 20 labelisierten IBA Projekten.
